Table of Contents Marijuana Myths Myth #1: Marijuana causes brain damage Interesting Facts About Marijuana (The Real) Effects and Side Effects of Smoking Marijuana
Foreword Before we start reviewing the Real Truth Behind the 10 Most Lied About Myths, I first want to share these Facts with you. The information you will read here is probably not what you have heard from your friends. But these are the facts. Don’t decide to use marijuana or any drug until you know all the facts and can decide for yourself. Marijuana has been around for a very long time. Marijuana seeds were found as early as 6000 B.C. in Chinese food, but it wasn’t until the 1960’s that marijuana became more popular. From that moment governments all over the world (especially America) did there very best to spread rumors and lies about marijuana, thus creating myths!
Because most of these so called “studies” and “tests” were performed in the 1970’s and 1980’s with outdated technology and a outdated way of thinking, professors (working for the government) made up A LOT of lies and even faked test results to give the people a false illusion that marijuana was evil and bad for you, they even claimed that it would alter your brain waves and make you a retard. In this report I will reveal the Real Truth behind the 10 Most Lied About Myths of all times, that still haunts us, even today! With that said, lets begin!
None of the medical tests currently used to detect brain damage in humans have found harm from marijuana, even from long term high-dose use. An early study reported brain damage in monkeys after six months exposure to high concentrations of marijuana smoke. These tests aren’t to be taken serious, because these monkeys were tested with outdated technology thus making the result inaccurate. In a recent, more carefully conducted study, researchers found no evidence of brain abnormality in monkeys that were forced to inhale four to five marijuana cigarettes every day for a year. This clearly proves that marijuana leaves NO brain damage. The claim that marijuana kills brain cells is based on a report dating back 25 years and has never been supported by any scientific study. I can fully confirm this myth is false using my own experience. I smoke weed for over 10 years now, almost on a daily basis. I have graduated university, I have a great job and a even better social life.
Some people may think that I am special or something, but I am not! I got a lot of friends that almost all smoke weed and most of them have great jobs and a perfectly normal life. These are real life examples, real people! Don’t get intimidated by people that smoke weed and are stupid, they probably were stupid before they started smoking weed. Smoking weed all day long doesn’t has a positive effect on your life, because of the temporary lose of short term memory (more on that in myth 6) + prices outside of Holland are very high so it would cost you a lot to.
Myth #2: Marijuana is a “gateway” drug
Lets take a real life example. I live in Holland my whole life, since I was born weed has been legally available at every corner of the street. Weed in Holland has been made legal in the 1970’s from that moment on we had a huge drop in hard drug users. Lets get real, if marijuana is a gateway drug to hard drugs why are the number of hard drug users going down and not up? Its like this, if I tell you not to do something you would still do it and enjoy it 10 times more because its illegal! Making it legal takes away the secrecy thus taking away the fun! Even studies in the U.S. have shown that over 75 percent of all Americans who use marijuana never used hard drugs. Do you see the bigger picture now? Its all about the money! If they would legalize marijuana then a lot of people will trade in there liquor bottle for a bag of weed and liquor sales will go down and that will hurt Uncle Sam’s pocket a lot, since they make a lot of money on liquor sale taxes.
Myth #3: No one has ever died from an overdoses Marijuana
Animal tests have shown that extremely high doses of marijuana is needed to have lethal effect. Lets say you would get stoned from 1 joint, that means that you will need 40,000 joints to get a overdose of marijuana. I don’t know about you, but I smoke an average of 2 joints per day, that is like 672 joint per year. It would take about 60 years for me to smoke 40,000 joints at the rate I am smoking. There is no way that anyone could overdose for marijuana, period! Now lets take alcohol, the ratio on alcohol varies between 1:4 and 1:10 depending on the person’s health. In America, every year 10,000 people die directly from a alcohol overdose and don’t get me started on alcohol related deaths, we are talking 110,000 deaths per year on alcohol related deaths. Think about driving with alcohol etc. No one EVER died from a marijuana overdose. Can I get a Amen!
Myth #4: Marijuana is more dangerous than tobacco
Smoked marijuana contains 2 times more tar and carbon monoxide as tobacco, but you should realize that someone who is a heavy tobacco smoker, smokes a lot more tobacco then a heavy marijuana smoker. So a heavy tobacco smoker inhales much more smoke then a heavy marijuana smoker. As a result, the risk of serious lung damage is far more lower with marijuana smokers. Then there are always people that say stuff like this: “Someone told me that one joint equals 8 tobacco’s” Allow me to bust this myth once and for all and hit you with the facts. Tar and carbon monoxide are the main reason why tobacco and marijuana are dangerous. This would mean that 1 (pure) joint equals 2 tobacco's. But, like I said before, Marijuana smokers smoke lesser joints then people that smoke cigarettes and there are only a very few people that smoke there joint pure. Most of the time people mix there marijuana with tobacco, so that also lowers the above value of tar and carbon monoxide. That would mean that the 1 pure joint that john is smoking, equals 2 cigarettes that steve is smoking. So steve would be smoking (6-2=4) 4 cigarettes or with other words 4 times as more tar and carbon monoxide then steve. So if you look at the facts, it is true that marijuana contains more tar and carbon monoxide then cigarettes, but when you look at it in a real life situation you see that the cigarette smoker loses against the marijuana smoker! Also, There have been no reports of lung cancer related solely to marijuana. Where there are millions of people that we know of that died of lung cancer, solely from smoking cigarettes Unlike tobacco, marijuana causes no problems with the lung's small airway. So we can conclude that marijuana is much SAFER than tobacco.
Myth #5: Legalizing marijuana would cause
Early studies showed that people who smoke marijuana have about the same amount of car accidents then people who drink alcohol. However, a more closer examination revealed that 85% of the people who used marijuana and had a car accident also consumed alcohol! For people only intoxicated on marijuana, the rate was much lower than for alcohol alone. This finding has been supported by other research using completely different methods. For example, states that had reduced penalties for marijuana possession experienced a rise in marijuana use and a decline in alcohol use with the result that fatal highway accidents decreased. This would suggest that, instead of causing a "carnage" on the highways, legalizing marijuana might actually save lives! Tests have also shown that people intoxicated on alcohol drive a lot faster then people who didn’t used alcohol, while marijuana smokers drive a lot slower and approach other cars more cautiously. This is because the effects of marijuana makes you more aware of your surrounding so you pay more attention to the things happening around you, it also feels like you are going 60 miles a hour while only driving 30 miles. Also I would like to add that I drive my car at least a few times a week after I smoked some joints. The funny part is that I have had my share of car accidents but never while I was high on weed, isn’t that something?
Myth #6: Marijuana impairs short-term memory
This myth is true but misleading, impairment of the short-term memory disappears when you are no longer under the influence of marijuana. Laboratory studies reveal that people under the influence of marijuana have no trouble remembering things they previously learned. However, they have difficulties learning and recalling new information. This effect only lasts when they are high on marijuana. There is no evidence that heavy long-term marijuana use permanently impairs memory. Then there are always people that say stuff like this: “my friend was a very good student and now that he smokes pot, he became a retard and he can’t even tie his own shoes” You really need to ask this person 2 simple question, which are: Question 1: "How much marijuana do you smoke per day..?" Il bet that 9 out of 10 say: "As much as I can" on the first question and "All day long baby!" on the second question. And that 1 person that tells something else is either lying or was born retarded! Like I said before, smoking marijuana all day doesn't have a positive effect on your life. Like everything, To much is always bad. Smoke your weed with care. 1 to 2 joints per day is no problem at all and more important, only smoke when you are done doing your daily things. Going high to work isn't the way to go! The affects of marijuana are temporary. Don’t fool yourself into believing it will make you a retard! There are enough retards running around already……
Again, true but very misleading let me hit you with the facts! There over 1500 chemicals present in roasted coffee! Coffee contains 1,500 chemicals. Rat poison contains only 30 chemicals. This misleading statistic is often used to make marijuana look dangerous. Things like this really irritate me. There are so many things worldwide that causes cancer, we got factory’s emitting toxic gasses on a daily bases into the air and dumping toxic waste into the sea. So we won’t be seeing signs like this in every “coffeeshop” in Holland
Myth #8: Marijuana is highly addictive
Most people who smoke marijuana only smoke it occasionally. A small amount of people (Americans) less than 1 percent, smoke marijuana on a daily basis. Did you know that tobacco has a 90% addiction rate while marijuana is less addictive then caffeine. You heard that right, you get hooked on coffee faster then you get hooked on marijuana! Also, tobacco (nicotine) and alcohol can be as addicting as heroin or cocaine, but marijuana is one of the least habit forming drug there is! Some people who heavily and frequently smoke marijuana can stop without difficulty. Surveys show that the large majority of people who have had experience with marijuana do not become regular users. even people who continue using marijuana for several years or more are not necessarily "addicted" to it. Many regular users (including many daily users) smoke marijuana in a way that does not interfere with daily life activities, and may in some cases even boost there performance. This defiantly applies to me! As I explained before I smoke marijuana almost on a daily bases and I have a perfectly balanced life. I would never smoke a joint at launch break at my work, but when I get of work and I am at home there’s noting wrong with smoking a few joints, it even helps me get more creative and come up with new idea’s for my websites, e-books and work!
Myth #9: Marijuana causes crime and aggression
Every serious scholar and government commission examining the relationship between marijuana use and crime have reached the same conclusion: “Marijuana does not cause crime” Most of the marijuana users do not commit crimes other than the crime of possessing marijuana. Among marijuana users who do commit crimes, marijuana plays almost no role. Almost all human and animal studies show that marijuana decreases rather than increases aggression. I quote: “Marijuana has a quieting or tranquilizing effect rather then creating aggression” In a more recent study, they took two groups of people, one group drunk and another group high on marijuana. The group that was drunk showed far more aggression then the group that was high on marijuana. This proves that even in a group format marijuana causes less aggression then today’s legal drugs! So if we would all smoke weed the world would be a better and safer place!
Myth #10: Marijuana is very bad for your health
As early as 1972 The National Commission on Marijuana and Drug Abuse concluded that while marijuana was not entirely safe, its dangers had been heavily overstated. In 1995, based on thirty years of scientific research, editors of the British medical journal Lancet concluded that "the smoking of cannabis, even long term, is not harmful to the health." In fact, smoking marijuana helps to reduce the nausea with cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. It also stimulates appetite with AIDS patients and many more benefits of marijuana keep showing up even today. Today many people use marijuana as a medicine. Although its illegal, they risk being arrested and they could even go to jail but its obviously worth it for these people. Why would you take away a medicine that helps ease the pain for incurable diseases, let these people smoke there weed and enjoy the time they got left without pain so they can spend there last few years being happy. This myth is not only busted! The opposite has been proven, and I hope that one day this big taboo about marijuana will disappear and we can all smoke weed in peace.
A Final Word
As you may have noticed there are a lot of people trying there very best to make marijuana look like a bad thing, while there are lots of benefits that they never mention. A Wise man once told me: “If you add up all the good things about something and then add up all the bad things, then compare them to each other and you find that there are more good things then bad things, its worth a try” Well I added up all the good things about marijuana and then I added up all the bad things about marijuana but somehow my benefits list is like 10 times larger then my list with bad things. So my conclusion is: “Its worth a try! Legalize Marijuana!”
I hope you enjoyed reading all the Real Facts about the 10 biggest myth’s that wonder around the online world and of course the offline (rumor) world. Use this information to your own benefit and try to get something useful out of it!
Interesting Facts About Marijuana
If you thought this was the end of this report you’re wrong! We still got some ground to cover so you are fully aware of the pro’s and cons of marijuana. Because I know a lot about marijuana, people ask me a lot of questions. A lot of all e-mails I receive, have something to do with the following Facts I am about to share with you.
(The Real) Effects and Side Effects of Smoking Marijuana
I need to begin by saying that marijuana does not effect everybody the same way. First time smokers of marijuana should always use a small dose to see how it would effect their body and mind. Some Positive effects from smoking marijuana are: Pain relief Some of the “negative” effects from smoking marijuana are: Dry mouth If there is a problem with headache or nausea, a warm bath or shower will get you back on your feet in no time. Example, Some people are at there maximum “high” after smoking only 1 joint while others need 2 to 3 joints to reach that kind of level. It depends a lot on the persons physical and mental health, remember it’s the way you think about it that makes all the difference! Things that should be avoided while smoking marijuana are drinks that contain caffeine and excessive exercise.
How Much Does Marijuana Cost
This is a tricky one and it is impossible for me to tell you the price of marijuana in your country or town. But I can give you some basic rates at which marijuana is sold. So you won’t get cheated out of your hard earned money. Since I live in Holland myself and we are consider marijuana capital of the world, I will start by revealing the basic prices in my own country. “Legally” 1 gram of marijuana sells for 6 euro, which is around 7.25 dollar (considering a 1 EUR = 1.20819 USD conversion rate) This is what you pay in a normal coffee shop, with normal I mean outside the central part of the city. Prices in the central part of Amsterdam can be very high because they know that tourists will pay that kind of money for marijuana. I must admit that we have like the cheapest prices in the world, I guess since we sell it “legally”. Why I say “legally” well... that is because it isn’t really legal, its permitted. Marijuana in Holland still is a tricky subject. We are allowed to smoke and sell it but we can’t grow it. So somewhere in that process it must end up in the coffee shops in almost a magical way. There is still a discussion going on whether we should totally legalize it or find some sort of way to solve that problem. Prices in America can get really high, since most of the time there is a local dealer where everyone gets his marijuana from and he really makes up the prices. It also depends on the quality of the marijuana. The worse weed in Holland is probably one of the best weed in America.
Prices on marijuana in America can range anywhere from $3 to even $30 dollars per gram depending on the quality. Bad quality marijuana sells for around $3 to $8 dollars per gram. Prices usually get cheaper if you buy more, but then again, prices can vary a lot from state to state, its really hard to tell...
How Long Marijuana Stays In Your System
Marijuana is the most commonly used and tested for drug in the United States and several other countries as well, even though marijuana is one of the least harmful drugs out there, it is also the most likely drug to cause you to fail a drug test. So it could be very handy to know how long marijuana stays in your system. Everyone is different and there are several different factors which can affect whether or not you test positive for marijuana use. THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) can stay in a person's body for as long as 3 to 90 days after smoking marijuana. But there are a lot of determining factors for how long marijuana will stay in a persons body, things like your health, your body weight, metabolism and fluid intake will effect the length of time that marijuana stays in your body. If you smoke marijuana occasionally it will remain in your system for up to 10 days. If you smoke marijuana on a regular basis it could stay in your system for as long as 45 days, and if you smoke marijuana at a constant pace, it can stay in the body for 90 days
Besides the common urine tests, they could also test your hair to find traces of marijuana. You really don’t want a hair test! Since your body stores THC in the hair follicles, traces of marijuana could be found in your hair for as long as three years after you last smoked a joint. These hair tests are expensive so the odds of you getting one are very small. You probably wonder how you can get rid of al these traces that marijuana leaves behind.
Flushing Your System of Marijuana
If you got intimidated by the above topic, then don’t be. You got nothing to worry about. There are a lot of ways to flush your system from marijuana. Some methods will take a while, while some only take 2 hours! I will be discussing the natural way to flush your system from traces that marijuana leaves behind and some of the non natural ways. It could take up a entire month to get it out of your system the natural way, you can speed up this process by drinking a lot of water. This may sound corny but you need to realize that drinking water really helps speeding up the process! Don’t drink any water on the day you are going to get tested! Your urine will be to clear (colorless) and you will have to take another test. If your urine turns out to be to clear again, after you took the second test, they might take a hair test and that’s not what we want. The best thing you could do before you have the test is to drink some Cola, so your urine will look normal in color. In combination of drinking a lot of water I also recommend that you do some excessive exercising. Sweating really helps getting rid of traces that marijuana leaves behind. This almost sounds like a weight losing program and if you do it right, you will lose weight! You can see it as a extra bonus. You are detoxing from marijuana and losing weight at the same time, what more can you ask! I do need to say that fasting or a crash diet can release the THC into the bloodstream very fast and can give a positive test result (positive, as in traces of marijuana are present in your body). So DON’T do it! Eat what you would normally eat. Now that we have discussed the natural way, lets move on to my favorite part, the non natural ways. There are a lot and I mean A LOT of ways you can detox from marijuana using drinks, shampoos and pills. There literally 1000’s of these products out there, but only a few are really tested and proven to work. I have gone to a lot of trouble to find these products and I am willing to share them with you . I believe that you don’t have to suffer just because you smoked a joint.
Tricks to Pass Marijuana Urine/Hair Test
So, lets assume you don’t have a full month to detox from marijuana the natural way and you need to take a drug test in the next few days or even tomorrow! Don’t even worry, you aren’t the first person in that position. Lucky for you there are great products on the market available that help you detox from marijuana in no time! But before we go review these products I will first hit you with some basic things you need to know about detoxing from marijuana. After drinking the detoxifying formula, it is wise to drink a lot of water. This water will help you to flush the toxins and THC out of your system. First of all, you should purchase a small drug testing kit. This drug testing kit will allow you to test and make sure that you’re no longer testing positive for marijuana.
Remember not to drink water on the day you are going to get tested, it will make you urine look colorless and you will have to take another test, drink soda instead. The detox drinks always come with a guide for you on how to use that products the best way, so don’t worry about that. My favorite trick is to use synthetic urine. This is urine created in a laboratory and will give you a 100% negative urine test. You can’t go wrong with synthetic urine. Its very simple to use, you just need to add some water to the “urine powder” and your done. If there is no one watching you take a piss, you should and I repeat SHOULD defiantly go with synthetic urine. There is no way you can fail a drug test with it. I have searched the web for the best detox shampoos, drinks, pills and synthetic urine that help you pass ANY drug test even laboratory tests. Exited? You should be, this could mean the difference between losing your job and in some cases even going to jail! There is one company that really sticks out with head and shoulders. There shipping is really, really fast and trust me, if you have to take that drug test tomorrow you don’t want to wait 3 days before you get it. Time is of the essence! Go to http://www.joint-rolling-guide.com/detox and pass that drug test! I hope that you fully understand the story behind marijuana, I have spend a lot of time and afford writing this report, it is now up to you to make up your mind. My goal is to educate people about marijuana and inform them about all the pro’s and cons attached to it, so that they can judge it themselves.
